Do you carry out the building works for the staircase?

No, we fit our staircases to an opening or stairwell, which must be prepared by your builder.

How do I get a quote for a staircase?

Due to the differing requests we receive please contact us by phone or email and we shall advise the quickest method of quoting for your requirements.

Can I fit the staircase myself?

Any competent DIY person can fit many of our staircases. Or a builder or joiner should be more than capable in most circumstances. Please contact us for further information.

Will Burnhouse undertake design and build responsibility?

Yes, we have in-house CAD design facilities, qualified draughtsmen and design engineers.

What sizes of projects are Burnhouse prepared to undertake?

We have regularly undertaken large scale, intermediate and individual projects.

What style of stairs can you offer?

We have completed many projects from straight runs of varying lengths to more intricate spiral staircases and these are typical designs but don't forget we offer a custom made design service for you.

How can I stop stainless steel discolouring in outside locations?

Wash regularly with a soapy solution using a slightly abrasive pad. No grade of stainless steel is totally impervious to external staining.

What quality standards do you work to?

What range of finishes can you offer?

Using modern & traditional materials that can be utilised to create your unique project, from mild steel / stainless / aluminium / glass / etc. galvanising, powder coating or any range of paints are available to suit your requirements.
